"Superpowers transplanted."
Wan-seo, Ji-sung, Sun-nyeo, Yak-sun, and Ki-dong come from different backgrounds, but they have one thing in common. They have all received a transplant of a person. Along with their improved health, they also received unexpected supernatural powers. These five people become aware of each other's existence and form a team. With their different personalities, they often argue and accidents happen all the time. Meanwhile, Young-chun, the leader of a fake religion, receives a pancreas transplant and also a supernatural power. He sets out to find the rest of the transplantees to realize his dream: to attain a higher power.

East Asian farce is truly my cinematic kryptonite, and Haipaibeu has a ton of it. I could have shot that actor playing the father after 30 seconds. But even I have to admit that, objectively, despite a lot of standard crap, there's also some original, lame humor in this film (rickroll!). I just can't laugh at it.
Then it's also a superhero parody. That means big action scenes that are tedious due to their lack of tension, because anything goes and nothing has consequences. Especially when, as in this case, the superpowers are rather vaguely defined, giving the writers even more room to tinker. All with a 2016 video game look, too; Korean films don't have Hollywood budgets yet. The big final battle, in particular, just goes on and on and on...
Well, I can't completely hate a film that makes fun of shady cults and uses both 'Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Sunglasses at Night' very effectively on its soundtrack.
