Die Regentrude plot
The drought is disastrous for a village. To save everyone, the big rancher wants to marry Maren, the daughter of a rich grass farmer, but she has pledged her heart to the penniless Andreas. If Maren would succeed in awakening the drowsy rain spirit in time, the village would be saved and she would be allowed to marry Andreas. Maren and Andreas are going to try and venture into the big, dangerous forest.
