Crazy and Thief plot

A seven-year-old girl takes her two-year-old brother on a journey full of opportunities and fantasies. They start their journey with the help of a star map that they have made by splashing paint on an old envelope. They search the streets, shop windows and garbage cans, looking for star-shaped objects that seem to coincide with the dots on their map. On their journey, they meet a one-eyed man whom they regard as a Cyclops. In an attempt to get closer to the children, the man tells a story about the nativity scene, without all the facts. According to the children's interpretation, they must search for a time machine in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
