Mikolo plot

Lola takes her two children, the inquisitive and adventurous Funke and the smart and logical Habib, to Ondo to spend the holidays with their grandmother and also to give her some space to properly evaluate her career and relationship with their father. Funke and Habib quickly feel at home when their adventure begins the next day. Captivated by a neighbor's stories about the Igbo Irunmole, Funke is convinced of the existence of mythical creatures, while Habib vehemently rejects the idea. Their disagreement is settled with the appearance of Mikolo, a colorful hippopotamus-like creature. In no time they fall in love with Mikolo and do everything they can to protect him from any harm.
