"Take an example of Evelin!" - that's a reproach that Sylvia keeps hearing. The constant comparison of her actions with those of her self-conscious twin sister Evelin has become a nightmare for Sylvia. But now, just before the girls' eleventh birthday, an important decision is made in the Jäger family: Sylvia is no longer considered a small child from that moment on. She is only too eager to live up to expectations about her future behavior, even if certain past events make her doubt her. Sylvia is always afraid of doing something wrong and when the sensitive child forgets something important again, she finds herself in a dangerous state of mind, which the parents and their sister initially underestimate.
