Zone Frontière plot

In the absence of the father, who was captured for smuggling at the Belgian border, Mrs. Verkouter gets the attention of Max and her daughters. Lucienne and Zizi join a small gang of fraudsters. They hide Ginette, who refuses to give in to her boss's advances and is prosecuted for attempted theft. She falls ill, while Lucienne refuses to obey Max. The father is released and tries to restore order in his family.
