Yevgeni Onegin plot

Film adaptation of Tchaikovsky's opera of the same name and the poem by Alexander Pushkin. Yevgeni Onegin is a young dandy from Saint Petersburg who travels to his dying uncle's estate to gain his favor. There he meets the poet Vladimir Lensky, who introduces him to Olga and her sister Tatyana. Tatyana declares her love to Yevgeni, but he rejects her. Instead, he flirts with Olga.
