Yamabiko Gakkô plot

The Yamabiko School is a secondary school in a small village in northeastern Japan. The villagers can barely make ends meet, so many of teacher Muchaku's students have to skip classes to relieve their parents in their work. Muchaku does a lot to ensure that all his students have the opportunity to learn. In this way he wants to teach the students that poverty is not a shame and that it is more important that they try to solve their problems together.
