Warchild plot

Senada (Labina Mitevska) has never really given up hope. Her baby was only two years old when she lost her during the turmoil of the war in the mid-1990s. Her ex-husband Samir (Senad Basic) also searched for Aida for years, but to no avail. When Senada discovers through a newspaper report that many sick children were taken abroad, she clings to this last straw. She arrives in Italy with the help of a people-smuggling gang. From there she continues via Austria to Germany, where she finally comes across a first clear indication in Ulm.
