Vier Töchter plot

Hillevi is already 30 years old when she accidentally finds out that she has been adopted. Driven by the need to find out who she really is, she immediately sets out to find her biological mother, blowing up all the bridges behind her. She wants to find her mother and her three sisters as soon as possible. Her mother is Ottilia Kronland, a successful real estate agent who leads a perfectly organized life. She lives with her youngest daughter Paula in a luxurious apartment and seems to manage her life seemingly effortlessly, just like her two eldest daughters who have already left the house. Without revealing her identity, Hillevi rents a nearby house and spies on her mother and sisters through the window. However, she soon notices that behind the facade of this family there are many underlying conflicts.
