Vesna plot

Occupied Ukraine is forbidden by the Russians from burying executed Ukrainian citizens. The 35-year-old priest Andriy sees his church turn into a mortuary. He is ordered to store the bodies of the executed citizens there before they disappear into mass graves. Andriy secretly resists this by identifying the dead, returning them to their families, and ensuring a dignified burial. However, now that winter has arrived, the ground is freezing over.
