Vanished plot
Marielle Delauney and her husband Charles enjoy the romance of Paris in the year 1929. However, when their son is killed in a tragic accident, the marriage does not last and Marielle, plagued by guilt and despair, has to be taken in. Eighteen months later, she returns to New York and tries to start a new life there. She marries the wealthy Malcolm Patterson and this marriage is also blessed with the birth of a son. Marielle finally begins to regain faith in life, until one day her son mysteriously disappears. The horrific memories from the past immediately resurface and to Marielle's horror, her ex-husband is arrested for kidnapping the apple of her eye.
