Until Then plot

It's Poy's last night in the Philippines. He and his family are going to migrate again to somewhere far away from home. This impending move leaves behind chaotic feelings that cause Poy to run away to Manila, the city he never got to know. The night brings him a chance encounter with weary local Shirley, who is struggling with the disappointments of her own life.
