Une Fille Unique plot

The story is set in 1935, on the eve of “le Front Populaire”, a French left-wing government coalition. Bruno and Sophie, a young couple, are the guests of Andrée and Serge, Sophie's parents, who live in the province. Because he is a communist, Bruno is not accepted by his in-laws.
