Fresh out of reform school, a group of young criminal girls fall into the hands of some mobsters, and are forced to work as hostess in various bars. They have to cash in on male customers by "offering" them watery drinks and fixed poker games. When a gullible New Yorker loses $18,000 as a result of these practices, the police strike.
