Triumph plot

"The Dramatic Tale of a Stage-Struck Girl."

Nell Baxter is a woman who wants to become a famous actress. She starts doing local work in parks, but one day gets an opportunity to perform on stage. She's the new face of the week, and a fellow actress advises her to string the producer along without ever really giving in to his whims to maintain her status as the number one girl. However, this backfires when he discovers that she is in an amorous relationship with a struggling writer, leaving her dreams on shaky ground.
