Tôkyô Kyôdai plot
Kenichi lives in an old district of Tokyo and works in a used bookstore to support his high school student sister Yoko. When Yoko graduates, she starts working in a photo shop. Kenichi's girlfriend meanwhile has decided to marry someone else, she is tired of waiting for him. Kenichi is touched by the fact that Yoko starts dating his best friend Makoto. But, when Makoto is involved in a fatal accident, brother and sister resume their normal lives. Until one day something happens.
