The Unseen plot

Gemma and Will are heartbroken when their son dies in an accident. Gemma blames herself and starts having panic attacks that affect her vision. Will thinks he hears his son's voice calling to him. To escape their grief, Gemma proposes to accept Paul's offer to stay at his home in Lake District County for a while. Paul, a former pharmacist, tries to help Gemma overcome her panic attacks. When Will suddenly returns home, Gemma is dependent on Paul who begins to develop feelings for her.
