The Trouble Buster plot

After her father's death, Michelna is threatened with being sent to an orphanage. She escapes and becomes the companion of "Blackie" Moyle, a newspaper boy. She dresses in his clothes and also starts selling newspapers. One night, she is lured to an apartment by Tip Morgan, a con man. "Blackie" saves her, but is blinded in the fight. Michelna has a statue she has made and calls it "Trouble Buster". She wants to sell the statue to pay for a reconstruction operation for "Blackie".
