Sharon Kimm and Mickey Reid are childhood friends, but that ends when she is placed in an orphanage. Sharon becomes a famous movie star in Hollywood, but her fame makes her self-centered and shallow, and her rising star plummets just as quickly. Ironically, the movie that made her famous was written by Mickey.
