The Singing Fool plot

Al Stone is a successful singer on Broadway and has a happy marriage. But then hard times follow; his wife leaves him along with his only son. Al is completely devastated and his career goes back to square one. But his friends save him from a lonely life on the streets, and Al manages to revive his career. But a new setback awaits: his son is dying in the hospital.
