The Runner plot
Edward Harrinton is a young addict. Under the flickering lights of Las Vegas, he gambles himself into debt. His shady uncle Bruno lands him a job with the notorious mobster Deepthroat as a 'runner': he visits several bookmakers in the city to gamble for his boss. Then Edward meets the beautiful waitress Karina and falls madly in love with her. Together they dream of a beautiful and happy life, but Deepthroat has very different plans for Edward and his Karina.
