The Outer Gate plot

"Long years in prison he planned vengeance on the man who jailed him...his sweetheart's father!"

Young construction engineer Bob Terry is in love with Lois Borden, the daughter of his employer John Borden. If some bonds are missing, Bob is wrongly accused by Borden and ends up in jail. A few years later, the real thief is arrested and Bob is released again. However, seeking revenge on Borden, he hatches a plan with the help of his cellmate Todd Shannon and the mobster John Carmody.
