The Mover plot
"To save a life means to save the world"
The Second World War has broken out and the Latvian Žanis Lipke works during the day in the storage of the German Air Force. At night he illegally smuggles goods. When the Nazis begin persecuting and liquidating Jews, he makes a risky decision that could mean the end of him and his family. He literally plucks more than 50 people from under the noses of German soldiers and takes them to safety. He hides them in a makeshift bunker under his own house.
