The Letter plot

The adulterous wife Leslie (Lee Remick) shoots her lover Geoff (Ian McShane) to death and is acquitted at trial for the brilliant work of her lawyer Howard (Ronald Pickup). However, she is followed by her ex-lover's oriental widow Ong (Soon-Tek Oh), in possession of an incriminating letter. Her husband Robert (Jack Thompson) also wants to know the bottom line.
