The Hellions plot
"Rough, Relentless, everyone a killer"
19th Century, South Africa. A family of ruthless men - Luke Billings and his sons Matthew, Mark, John and Jubal - drive into the small town of De Wylt. Police sergeant Sam Hargis is the only public order officer. The Billings shoot a farmer, cut telegraph wires, terrorize the settlers and humiliate Sam in front of his townspeople. While everyone wants the bandits driven out of town, no one is willing to help Sam. While stocking up guns at the local store, Mark Billings is accidentally shot and killed by Ernie Dobbs, the timid store owner.
