The Gilded Highway plot

The Welbys, made up of two parents and their two children, are suddenly torn from their humble social milieu when Jonathan, the father, inherits a fortune. From then on, everyone in the family behaves terribly. They alienate their old friends through their snobbish and greedy ways. As soon as the Welbys lose all their money in one fell swoop, they realize their bad behavior.
