The Flame Within plot
"The Secret a Woman Keeps from a Man!"
Affluent Lillian Belton tries to commit suicide with a drug overdose, so her doctor sends her to psychiatrist Mary White for treatment. Lillian calls Jack Kerry from Mary's office and she then tries to jump out the window, but is stopped by Mary, who learns that Jack is the reason for Lillian's suicide plans. Jack is an alcoholic who does not take care of Lillian, while she loves him dearly. Mary then tries to convince Jack to enter a rehabilitation program for his alcohol problem.
