The Endless River plot
In the small South African town of Riviersonderend, a young waitress is happy when her husband returns home after four years in prison. At first they seem very happy with the new life they are rebuilding together. However, when their foreign neighbor's family is gruesomely murdered one day, the neighbor and the waitress are slowly attracted to each other. Despite the different backgrounds of the two, they find commonalities in their shared anger, pain and loneliness.
