The Devil-Stone plot

Fisherwoman Marcia Mariot finds an emerald that once belonged to a Norwegian queen and is cursed. The greedy American Silas Martin marries her and then he immediately sets her up for divorce again. Marcia kills him and then marries company manager Sterling. A detective has now found out about Silas's death.
