The Devil's Agent plot
After the end of World War II, former Nazi intelligence officer George Droste made a new life as a wine merchant. When, during a visit to an old friend in the GDR, he is asked by his sister to take a package to Vienna, he attracts the attention of the American secret service. A certain Mr. Smith hires him as a double agent and sends him to Budapest to gather information. During his adventures he meets the young Hungarian Nora, who tells that she has fled from her native country.
