The Big Timer plot

"I'm the guy who Okays the dames and Kayoes the Palookas!"

Cooky Bradford works as a sparring partner for manager Pop Baldwin's boxers, but he wants to be a real boxer himself one day. Cooky hopes to win enough money to buy the lunch truck, where he now works as a hamburger salesman. He shares his aspirations with Pop Baldwin's daughter Honey. When Pop dies, only Cooky and the trainer Schultzy agree to work under a woman when Honey decides to run her father's gym.
