The Arrow plot

"The right stuff. The wrong time."

1950, at the height of the Cold War. Canada urgently needs an answer to the nuclear bombers that can fly over the North Pole. Liberal Secretary Howe pressures the military to put the development of a new fighter jet in the hands of a young Canadian design team. The 'AVRO Aircraft' team is assigned the assignment and wants to break all aviation records with its 'Arrow'. After the elections, the conservative government plans to cancel the project and the AVRO team starts a race against time...
