Tequila plot
1942. Tequila is a region deep in Mexico where honor is of paramount importance. Antonio, a young landowner who is respected by all, has an affair with Lola, the wife of his uncle Vicente, who is the hero of the area. With each lie, Antonio finds himself increasingly entangled in a tangle of mistrust, obsession and jealousy that endangers everything in his life and soul. In an act of desperation, Antonio decides to flee with Lola without worrying about the life he leaves behind and just to make sure Lola is safe. Because he fears to disappoint his uncle, he decides to leave behind his back. But in Tequila, traitors don't see the sun rise the next day.
