Sunshine plot

Sunshine is a talented young gymnast considered a guaranteed candidate for the national team. Just before the important competitions, however, she discovers that her athletic dream and her chance at a scholarship are in jeopardy. In Philippine society, where abortion is illegal and the female body is subject to strict moral scrutiny, she is virtually alone in her decision.
