Suncoast plot

In 2005 in Florida, teenager Doris finds herself in a difficult home situation. Together with her mother, she takes care of her brother, who she has to take to a specialized institution. Once there, she makes friends with an eccentric activist. All this is happening in the midst of demonstrations regarding a special medical file. This experience gives Doris a taste of her freedom for the first time.
