Nadja has been living and working for years with Stefanos, Evi and Iris in their house on the Aegean coast. She is officially the housekeeper, but she is clearly more than that: a confidante to Evi and a second mother to Iris. She attributes her fatigue to worrying about her daughter and the very hot summer. Then she goes to a doctor and is diagnosed with a serious illness.
