Andrew Newbold Dyer is a reclusive author whose novel "Ampersand" is considered a classic of American teenage angst. While delivering the eulogy for his oldest friend, Andrew is overcome by the life he's lived, the people he's hurt, and the novel that will forever remain his legacy.
