Thomas, a 30-year-old sound engineer, lives in the recording studio of Wyatt, his boss who has problems with alcohol addiction. Thomas is a real hermit. In his world of sounds he loses himself in the memories of a love affair that he tries to forget in his great passion: making sound portraits. Amina, a young Moroccan, enters his life after fleeing from her own past. She quickly becomes a dream subject for a sound portrait. Thomas is seduced, but to really know who Amina is, he has to take his microphone to the Moroccan suburbs where he learns to listen again.
