"STANDING IN THE HOOK"
New York steelworker Blondy has a penchant for girls and practical jokes, but not necessarily in this order. Blondy decides to change his carefree way of life when he falls in love with the singer Sally. However, when he is badly injured at work, Blondy breaks off his engagement to Sally. Blondy doesn't want to burden Sally with a disabled husband, but he hasn't counted on his best friend Slim Strede.
