Side by Side plot

Lauren and her brother Harvey live with their elderly grandmother, who needs increasing care. When grandmother has to go to a nursing home, Lauren accepts a place at a prestigious sports academy, believing she and Harvey won't be separated and that they can live with her counselor Janice. However, he wants to separate them so that Lauren can focus on her athletic career.
