Seven Faces plot

In a wax museum in Paris, young lovers, lawyer Georges Dufeyel and Hélène Berthelot, meet secretly. However, Helene's father, Judge Berthelot, discovers their romance and sends his daughter away. When the museum changes hands and the wax figures go up for auction, caretaker Papa Chibou has no money to buy the statue of Napoleon. He tries to steal this statue, but is arrested and has to appear in court. When Helene learns of Chibou's predicament, she turns to him for advice. Chinou then dreams about his various beloved wax figures coming to life and he hears them out about love. Next, Helène and Georges want to take up Chibou in court against Helene's father.
