Sélect Hôtel plot

In the Select Hotel, the corridor walls have a wallpaper with stripes, like the bars of a prison. The rooms are no bigger than cells. It is the last refuge in Paris for those with little money. The hotel residents walk silently through the streets, selling their body heat for a handful of crumpled banknotes and being consumed by their hunger for cheap kicks. Kicks that make them forget for a while the misery of their ruined lives and dream of a better existence. Nathalie and her brother Tof try to survive in this desolation. They live among cross-dressing whores and professional subway beggars.
