Seelenwanderung plot

During the hardships and poverty of the post-war years, Axel and Bum were very good friends. But soon the urge for wealth and career awakens in Bum. He sells his soul to the devil for the sum of 5 Deutsche Mark and soon he achieves everything he desires. He becomes a factory director, owns a huge fortune and is the respected husband of a very wealthy woman. He doesn't even think about his humble old friend Axel anymore.
