Schattenwelt plot

Widmer is an RAF terrorist who is released early. After being imprisoned for 22 years, he has to find his way in a changed German society. Convicted of the murder of an entrepreneur and his gardener, he bears the burden of a heavy political legacy. He gets an apartment next to another client of his lawyer, the young Valerie, whose son has been removed from home because of a one-time assault by his mother. The two seem to be no more than average neighbors, but their first encounters soon suggest a different scenario.
