Sappho plot

Engineer Georg de la Croix (Alfred Abel) has a nervous breakdown due to the persistent infidelity of his beloved Sappho (Pola Negri) and ends up in an asylum. His brother, Richard (Johannes Riemann) vows revenge, but he eventually falls in love with the beautiful Sappho himself.
