Salvation plot

"Close to God, but far removed from humanity."

'Salvation' is the story of Irina, Gloria and Barry. Irina left her native Russia to support her mother and daughter. She now lives in a world of prostitution, but sees her new profession as a means to a better life. Gloria is a televangelist with a thriving church franchise. She and Barry are married, and Gloria believes it is a marriage concluded in heaven. But the good Lord is her real partner. Barry, a biblical scholar, has supported and advised Gloria for many years, but now he wants to get away from it all. He craves genuine human warmth, intimacy and love. He begins to get involved with Irina and trust her. As Gloria moves closer and closer to her own destiny, Barry and Irina find a new home for their fragile dreams.
