Salli plot

38-year-old Taiwanese chicken farmer Hui-jun becomes the talk of the town when she starts an online relationship with a foreigner. Hui-jun, who lives with her brother and cousin Xin-ru, has been single for years and has had no luck in love. To help her aunt, Xin-ru installs a dating app on Hui-jun's phone, which puts Hui-jun in touch with a Frenchman named Martin. She quickly falls in love and impulsively decides to go to Paris, despite all the warnings that it would be a scam.
