Rustic Oracle plot
The late 90s. Ivy is an 8-year-old girl trying to understand what happened to her big sister who has disappeared from their small Mohawk community. With minimal clues, Ivy and her mother Susan set out on an unwanted journey to find Heather. Their journey eventually brings the two closer together, despite the challenging circumstances.

A biting drama that confronts the viewer with a horrific reality that hits the original population of Canada particularly hard: the disappearance of indigenous teenagers and young women without a trace. This film depicts such a disappearance, as seen through the eyes of a young girl who, together with her mother, goes in search of her missing older sister. The film is said to be inspired by director Sonia Bonspille Boileau's childhood experiences. A very painful story.
