Respect plot

Three different women rely on their faith as they strive to gain respect as they live their lives in London. Pre has an abusive relationship and has suffered from domestic violence her entire life. Nicola is an ambitious woman who struggles to find respect in a male-dominated environment. Sajmal is a nurse who struggles to keep her family together while her brother gets into gang-related activities and she fights for peace and respect between the warring local and Muslim cultures in her community.
